Our Wedding booking today was one of the longer bookings we’ve had in a while, but also one of the most rewarding! Set in the beautiful building and grounds of Hemswell Court, Lincolnshire, we were booked to play during the drinks reception and the wedding breakfast.

The couple had requested some amazing songs, ranging from club classics such as ‘Chandelier’ Sia, ‘Don’t You Worry Child’ Swedish House Mafia and ‘Crazy in Love’ Beyoncé, to luscious sloppy songs (you’ve gotta have at least a few!) including ‘Perfect’ Ed Sheeran, ‘At Last’ Etta James and ‘Just The Way You Are’ Bruno Mars.

Our lovely couple also requested 2 special songs to be played during their wedding breakfast; ‘Take Me To Church’ Hosier and ‘Africa’ Toto. Now, as we were playing during the drinks reception a group of guests came up to us and asked us when we would be playing Africa?! Apparently the groom had let it slip to one of his mates that he’d requested it specially and it turned out to be a popular song among his guests – after we performed it for them there was a sudden explosion of applause! It was so lovely! I mean it’s always nice to know your music is appreciated, but this was something else! Truly a rewarding evening of playing 😆
